I have a couple upcoming events in the California area that I wanted to share with you all. These events are open to the public and your presence is welcome. During the events I will be sharing my personal stories, talking about the wisdom of the ancients, speaking about indigenous ceremony, and answering questions.

Have you ever wondered why so many different native cultures utilize the Sweat Lodge Ceremony? Why did Native peoples, who needed to be focused on survival, still devote so much of their time and energy to Ceremony? What purpose could Ceremony play in our lives today? On June 19th we are holding a gathering at Tara Firma Farms in Peteluma CA. This is a gathering of people who are concerned with the current state of society and hopeful that there is way to once again live in balance. Many of us have been instinctively drawn to the wisdom of the ancestors for help with our current state. Salvatore Gencarelle is one of the people that was spiritually directed to find help from the ancients. At the age of 15 he was called to the Good Medicine Path of healing and renewal. For 17 years he was mentored on this path by a powerful Native American Medicine Family from the Lakota Sioux Tribe. During this time Salvatore was initiated into these ancient Medicine ways in the most strict and comprehensive way, following the ancient pattern of apprenticeship. It was through this intense process that Salvatore became responsible for the teaching he shares.
On June 19th from 5:30-9pm Salvatore will be speaking about his experiences with the ancient wisdom. This gathering is open to all. This is also an opportunity for those folks interested in the Leadership Initiation Program (L.I.P.), with the North Bay version starting this Fall, to meet Sal and ask questions.

(A personal letter from Salvatore)
Thank you for taking you time reading this letter. I hope you’ll consider joining us on the 19th. We are living in a critical time in the history of humankind. It is time for us to become truly conscious of who we are as human beings and take responsibility for ourselves, each other, and the world. We are the hope of the generations yet to be born. Each of us holds the prayer for a happy and healthy life.
Through my mentoring experiences with the ancient powers of this world it has become apparent that ceremonial wisdom is critical for human beings to live in balance with creation. On the evening of the 19th we will gather around the sacred fire and speak about the ancient wisdom, my personal journey, and how ceremony helps to bring individuals and cultures into balance. Join us in the Vision of a world in balance.
